These are stories set after the events of Star Trek: Generations, and involve the various characters of Star Trek: The Original Series in various exciting adventures, continuing on their career paths without the wisdom, the humor, the humanity of their now deceased friend and commander. It is not an easy path, and some setbacks are assured, but these are the continuing voyages of our friends... Spock, McCoy, Sulu, Rand, Chekov, Uhura, Saavik, Chapel and M'Benga ... and their enemies, Kang and The Albino...

The Klingons relish the fact that Leonard McCoy literally goes through hell as he faces the death of James T. Kirk and the death of his beloved wife, Teresa, and their children. Note: graphic violence and sexual situations.

Following the disappearance of James T. Kirk and the subsequent suicide of John Harriman, Pavel Andreievich Chekov is thrust into the center seat. He must deal with a reporter whose holocams always seem to know where trouble is, a young helmsman who is the daughter of an old, dear friend, a missing transport ship, Tholian homesteaders who have set up a colony in the Federation's backyard, a Vulcan ambassador and a fellow starship captain who is second-guessing his decisions.
